Student Spotlight: Milan Ly & Sofia Macias

ESD105 High School Art Show

Jana Whitfield, Art Teacher at West Valley High School, recently shared the following information:

"I would like to share exciting news regarding two talented students from West Valley High School. Milan Ly and Sofia Macias were both honored with Judges Choice Awards at the 2025 ESD105 High School Art Show, and they have also been awarded CWU Scholarships."

"Out of 95 student entries, Milan and Sophia's exceptional artwork stood out, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements. The awards ceremony will be held at the Yakima Museum on March 27, 2025, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, and the exhibit will remain open, now through the 27th, for those who would like to view their work."

The ESD105 regional includes Klickitat, Yakima, and Kittitas Counties as well as a portion of Adams County.
