The Ahtanum Valley PTA is very active in helping children at Ahtanum Valley Elementary succeed.  The strength of our organization are the parent volunteers.  We have a bookstore where students can buy school supplies on a daily basis.  The bookstore is headed up by parent volunteers.  Parents also help out in the classroom and in the computer lab with Read Naturally. The PTA provides popcorn for students to purchase every Friday. We also head up 3 Family Fun Nights per school year.  With our fundraising money we have been able to purchase new playground equipment for the playground.  PTA could not do all of this without the help of our volunteers.
